David first came to public attention as Joey Branning in BBC’s Eastenders – a role that won him both a National Television Award and a TV Choice Award for Best Newcomer. Since then, David has enjoyed a varied career between the UK and US – with Series Regular roles in Recovery Road (ABC), I Ship It (The CW), Flowers In The Attic: The Origins (Lifetime) and in the award-winning Manhunt: The Night Stalker (ITV) opposite Martin Clunes.

On stage, he has played Fiyero in Wicked (West End) and Link Larkin in Hairspray (Leicester Curve).

This year, David stars alongside Jason Statham and Jeremy Irons in The Beekeeper - coming to cinemas in September.

David is excited to share his passion for storytelling with The Young Company MCR students. He likes to demystify the process, believing it doesn’t need to be complicated. First and foremost, David’s classes are a fun, safe space for young actors to sharpen their tools and work on the things that are holding them back.

Charlie Young trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has since graced the stages of both London and the North.

She knows all sides of the industry having worked as a child talent agent and a Casting Associate/Director. She is one half of Hulman and Young Casting: .

Charlie currently teaches acting and Musical Theatre at Manchester College and The Arden and she can't wait to share her years of experience with The Young Company MCR.

Charlie loves to see the confidence build in her students, helping them to tackle characters and scripts with a belief in themselves that they can then take on to stage, set and out into their own lives!
